In June, hundreds gathered in what used to
be called the Old Library Building (l) on Broad Street in
Richmond for the dedication of the Patrick Henry Building.
It will permanently house many executive branch offices. During the 2006 legislative session, both houses of the General Assembly will convene there as well. |

Our beloved Chicken’s restaurant has
a new incarnation in the new building. Though it lacks the
atmosphere of the old place in the first floor of the Capitol,
the food is still great.
