Three Clark Nexsen Em ployees Earn Professional Engineer License’s

NORFOLK, VIRGINIA January 17, 2012 – Clark Nexsen, an established leader in providing architecture, engineering, interior design, planning, and landscape architecture is pleased t o announce that Brian Snyder, Caroline Yi and Keith Johnson have earned their Professional Engineer License’s, the engineering profession’s highest standard of competence, a symbol of achievement and assurance of quality. Brian Snyder, P.E. is a Structural Engineer and a 20 07 graduate of Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering. His experience at Cl ark Nexsen includes the design of ultistory dormitories and office buildings, military maintenance facilities, aircraft hangars, and cellular tower and eq uipment installations. Outside of n ew construction, Mr. Snyder’s experience includes the inspection, evaluation, and modification of existing steel and concrete structures associated

with general repairs, new loads, and eismic requirements. His experience within the Waterfront Division includes the design of commercial a nd military piers, wharves, and mooring str uctures, as well as the inspection and evaluation of existing timber and concrete piers.

    Caroline Yi, PE is a civil engineer who has been invol ved in various types of
    projects throughout Hampton Roads and neighboring Ti dewater areas. She has
    worked on treetscape projects for small towns; the rehabilitation of several
    subdivisions and drainage design and modeling of commercial and residential
    developments. Her expertise includes plan layout; Autodesk Civil Design; traffic

  estimates, grading and drainage design and calculations and stormwater

management design and modeling of drainage basins.

Keith Johnson, PE is a Bridge Engineer and a 2002 graduate of Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering. He started working with Clark Nexsen in 1996 as a courier and then as a co-op student while attending Virginia Tech. As a co-op student he worked primarily with the bridge inspection team in the structural department, and also worked with the civil department in performing inspections on lakes, BMPs and ditches for the city of Virginia Beach. Upon graduation he

joined Clark Nexsen’s structural department as a full time bridge inspector.
