Last year VDACS inspected 47,830 motor fuel dispensers and rejected 5% of them.

In 2011 VDACS verified the accuracy of 12,000 grocery store scales.

Last year VDACS inspected 3,949 tuning forks used to calibrate radar guns for police and sheriff’s departments.

VDACS inspected, collected and tested 4,270 samples of motor fuels in 2011.
